Yorktel is currently seeking a Technical Change Management Manager who will be responsible for:

  • OMS Resources(non-HR) for onsite/remote infrastructure deployments, scheduling resources and activities, delegation or tasks and projects, processes and SOP's
  • Manage OMS Resources based on a defined schedule based on locations and site restrictions
  • Ownership & Compliance Focus: Service Accounts, Firmware, device configuration management (CMDB), server patching with Wintel
  • Reporting for QBRs
  • Change Management Strategy, Risk Management, End User Impact, Release & Backout Plan's, Presenting and supporting in DWX CAB and ECAB
  • Implementation, Closing Changes, Change Audits, Standardizing Changes/SOPs, Engaging Managed Services / OMS/SDMs, Emergency Changes, MIM Calls related to Changes or Emergency Changes

Skills and Abilities

  • The candidate must have the ability to travel as required. Will require occasional site visits to customer location(s)
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and employees
  • Knowledge of and adherence to York Telecom policies and procedures
  • Domestic travel requiring multi-night stays within and at times outside the local work area
  • International travel may be required
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license is a requirement and must have a positive driver’s abstract
  • Current valid U.S. Passport is desirable

Education and Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience in a customer service area
  • AA Degree or equivalent experience in a technical subject is desirable
  • Use of software applications (Microsoft Office Suite) in conjunction with desktop publishing and manipulation graphs, spreadsheets, etc.
  • Use of Office 365 (word, excel, power point, and project)
  • Bi-Lingual capability is a plus
  • Must have high aptitude for Math
  • Must type at 60 wpm or higher

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 25 lbs
  • Frequent sitting, standing, and walking
  • Limited weekend and/or night work may be required
  • Must be willing to complete background checks and drug tests as required by current or future contracts
  • Must live in SoCal area
  • Must be willing to travel to Thousand Oaks at least four times a month, or potentially more depending on project requirements
