Job Description

Bookkeeper - Assistant 

Well established  contractor has an immediate part time position available.

Primary Function:

Aids Controller  in Performing  Accounting and Office Administrative Functions to Ensure Proficiency in Office Operations.

Typical Duties:

Aids in Preparing & Submitting: 
- Union benefits forms, unemployment claims, EEO reporting, certified payrolls, OCIP, new hire paperwork, Pre-Qualification forms, bonding.
- Weekly Payroll & Monthly Union benefit submissions
- AIA Billings, Percentage to Complete, General Ledger Reports- A/P, A/R, Job Costing
- Inputting and processing accounts payable/receivable.
- Employee clearances public works.
- In house tracking reports, scheduling, general office duties, organization & LEED/Safety, answering and communication of  incoming calls. 

Mandatory Skill Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years' experience with QuickBooks with in the construction industry.
- Proficient with AIA Billings, Payroll Tax Fillings, Union Reporting, EEO submissions and Certified Payroll.
- Contractual, Insurance , Bonding Matters & Notary.
- Able to develop new procedures improve the functions and transition with in their area of responsibility.
- Filing and documentation retention.
- Associate degree or higher.
- Highly skilled in MS Office, current public works reporting software and internal server filing.
