Job Description

HR Coordinator needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh’s client located in Brea, CO.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Recruiting
    • Act as ambassador for newly offered employees through the pre-hire process
    • Monitor background checks/drug screens
    • Coordinate & trigger Referral Bonus payments
  • New Hires And Terminations
    • Coordinate new hire setup with hiring managers and various internal departments
    • Process new hire paperwork and data entry
    • Maintain all I-9s and EEO forms (for active & term)
    • Coordinate all payroll paperwork in a timely and consistent manner
    • Create and maintain all Personnel file
    • Schedule all exit interviews and send all appropriate paperwork for terminations
    • Process all IT tickets for New Hires, termination and promotions if needed
    • Schedule and conduct New Hire Orientation and coordinate associate immersion processes
    • Schedule 30 day check in for New hires
    • Process new hires, terminations, lateral mover, country opco moves through Taleo.
  • Reporting
    • Run reports out of, Workday and other HR systems as needed on regular cycle
    • Run Reports for KPIs
    • Keep HR project file updated on a daily basis
  • Other
    • Processing and maintaining all workers’ compensation claims, unemployment requests, FMLA and leaves of absences
    • Responds to inquiries regarding general Human Resources matters including but not limited to, benefits programs, requests for verification of employment, and job inquiries
    • Ensures that all HR administrative functions are handled in an accurate and timely manner
    • Assist with special projects as needed and assigned
    • Participates in supporting the annual employee programs, including employee performance management process, compensation review, benefits open enrollment, and other employee programs
    • Provide support to Managers for all changes needed in Workday

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • One (1) to three (3) years Human Resources experience required
  • Demonstrated capacity to assume full ownership/accountability for multiple, major projects and/or processes
  • Exhibits high degree of professionalism and confidentiality in handling extremely sensitive information using considerable tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgment
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and experience working with HRIS a plus
  • Ability to work well independently as well as effectively within a team
  • Ability to create and follow processes fully
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Three (3) month contract, paying $22 - $25 per hour

Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Working knowledge of Workday a plus
