The Senior Operations Representative (SOR) is responsible for performing senior daily operations in conjunction with other Member Service Representatives. The SOR handles plastic card processing, share draft and ATM/Debit card matters, wires, account and transaction research, occasional tellering, opening new accounts, and other senior level day to day operations. The SOR provides excellent personal service to our members. The SOR monitors work along with other team members in accordance with job descriptions, to ensure priorities are handled effectively. The SOR trouble shoots problems, assists in cross-training, serves as a role model for maintaining an appropriate sales culture resulting in targeted growth, and maintains effective communication with the Manager regarding daily operations. Projects involving product and service processes, and vendor-to-credit-union, non-executive matters, are handled by the SOR at times as well. The SOR is able to perform all functions within other job descriptions of the day to day staff. Typical areas of work include combinations of teller and vault services, loan processing, closing, and collection, ACH, plastic cards, wires, internet banking, remote deposit capture and more. Special projects and other duties as assigned by the Manager are also part of the SOR's role. Ensuring that work is done per policy, procedure, and best practices is expected.
