Description

Youth For Tomorrow is a 501 (c) (3) and a faith based, non-profit organization, founded in 1986 by Hall of Fame Football Coach Joe Gibbs. The organization is large, diverse, experienced and committed to serving at-risk youth. In our residential treatment program, we serve males and females ages 12 to 18 years old to include youth with varying mental health diagnoses, survivors of trauma, PSB, pregnant and parenting teens, and survivors of commercial sexual exploitation.

Job Description:
  1. Maintain the Quality Assurance Record Review System developed by the Director of Quality Assurance-UIM to audit both active and discharged Home Study and Post Release (HS&PRS) files.
  2. Complete weekly audits of files and provide reports to all HS/PRS workers and leadership to ensure completion of documents.
  3. Maintain and build "Case Binders" for both active and discharged HS&PRS files by using the Adobe Case Binder system that has been implemented.
  4. Compile, build and fulfill all HS&PRS Record Requests from ORR and any other external agencies within the required 24-hour time frame by utilizing the Adobe Case Binder system.
  5. Assist with various Unaccompanied Immigrant Minor program audits and unannounced visits from DSS, ORR and any other licensing parties (i.e. COA, OIG and JCO).
  6. Monitor and ensure legal compliance with standards for Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) and Agency Accreditation Regulations.
  7. Assist with risk management issues involving safety and security of the agency, staff, and residents served.
  8. Serve as a member of the Risk Prevention Management Team.
  9. Assist with onsite ORR Monitoring Visits, as required.
  10. Assist with onsite reviews with ORR Project Officer or other representatives; as required.
  11. Oversee and ensure that YFT Policies and Procedures are in accordance with ORR and State Licensing regulations.
  12. All duties and responsibilities will support meeting the structured program of care outlined in DSS state standards (DSS: 22 VAC 40-151-720).
  13. Other duties as assigned by the CEO, Supervisor or designee.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in behavioral sciences, human services, or social services fields.
  • At least one year of experience working with child welfare standards, best practices, quality assurance or compliance
  • Bi-lingual (Fluent in Spanish and English) is preferred, but not required.
  • Able to work full time.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Suite
  • Ability to attend job-specific trainings and occasional travel for work-related duties

Core Competencies:
