What you would do:

We're looking for an enthusiastic adaptable Assistant Teachers, Before/After School Teachers and Special Needs Staff who have a passion for working with school age children (K-6th grades) in a classroom setting.

This position is a PART TIME working 1st shift (6:30am to 8:30am) and/or 2nd shift (12:30pm to 6:00pm) assisting and planning the education curriculum Monday – Friday.

This role is a great opportunity to jumpstart your career! Many of our Child Care Assistants ultimately grow to take on Site Lead roles over time, thanks to our YMCA Training we offer to exceptional employees. But if your goals are to work part time and be the best Child Care Assistant and/or Teacher – that is great too!

What you need to apply:

  • Experience working with children ages 5-12, in a daycare, nursery, camp, preschool or babysitting
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) credits or in a related field
  • Enjoy working with children
  • Growth, positive mindset and problem-solving approach
  • Can do attitude
