Responsibilities

The YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne Metro Office is looking for candidates that are detail oriented, organized, self-starters, cause driven, energetic and dependable team players to fill the position of Full-Time HR Administrative Assistant.

  • Support: Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task with job postings and employee training tracking.
  • Collaborate: Provide HR department with clerical support necessary for the smooth operation of the HR Department that may include, but not limited to, filing, mailings, reports, forms, requests and HR process billing.
  • Lead: Assist association staff with login access to payroll/recruiting system and YUSA system access.

Requirements

Candidates must be committed to contributing to the mission, culture, and values of the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne as well as:

  • Minimum of 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years office experience.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication and customer-service skills.
  • Attentive to details, organized, proficient with other clerical, computer, and math skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, preferred
  • Ability to relate to, welcome and communicate with diverse groups of people regardless of age, race, economic status, religion, or cultural differences.

Salary: Non exempt Full time $15.00-$17.00 hourly

Hours Available: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
