Our client, one of the largest Hotel and Destination Marketing Firms, is seeking a VP of Traffic Generation to join the Media team in Fort Lauderdale.
● Assessing client budgets, geography, markets, segments and synthesizing this information into a sensible media strategy as well as presenting it in a compelling way to clients.
● The management of 10+ team of 10+ SEO, PPC, email, social advertising and media experts
● Presentation of Traffic generation recommendations/results to clients directly.
● Enhancement of the firm’s understanding/utility of advanced digital media tools including:
○ Real time bidding, Programmatic, Ad serving and Tag Management platforms
● Partnering with the Accounting Dept to adjust monthly budgets and coordinate insertion orders and media payments.
● Seeking out compelling new traffic generating opportunities for clients
● Utilize campaign analytics program and dashboards.
● Identify and implement process and policy to streamline departmental performance.
● Monitor and report internal and external performance metrics in order to make recommendations for improvements
Education and Experience:
• 10+ years media experience with high digital IQ
• Proven success in managing a team with varied expertise/skill sets
• Travel, hotel experience preferred
• Knowledge of common media/traffic sources (with an emphasis on digital)
• Strong knowledge of analytics tools
• Possess strong presentation, analytical and communication skills
• Experience in a performance and metrics focused culture
• Excellent written, oral, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
