Wastewater Plant Operator

The Development team at the Yellowstone Club is looking for a Waste Treatment Plant Operator to join their team.

The purpose of a Water Treatment Plant Operator is operating andmaintaining all aspects of wastewater treatment operations within theYellowstone Club

Major Responsibilities:

·      Ensure wastewateris treated to meet or exceed state and federal regulations.

·      Daily inspections and record keeping of YellowstoneClub treatment plants and infrastructure.

·      Follow strict sampling guidelines and keep organizedrecords of all sample results.

·       Maintenance and upkeep of Yellowstone Club treatment plants andinfrastructure.

EssentialJob Functions:

·      Operation of SequencingBatch Reactor (SBR) treatment plant.

·      Inspections of water andsewer infrastructure.

·      Taking routine watersamples.

·      Record keeping and dataentry.

·      Organize and scheduleoutside contractors as needed.

·      Train and superviseoperators in training.

Experience/Education Required

·      1C Montana DEQ Wastewater Treatment License or outof State Equivalent with the ability to transfer to Montana.

·      3-5 years of experience in wastewater treatment.

·      High School Diploma

Experience/Education Preferred

·       Excavation experience

·       Ability to read and understand constructionplans.

·       Mechanically inclined

Certificates & Licenses

·      1C Montana DEQ Wastewater Treatment License or outof State Equivalent with the ability to transfer to Montana.

·      ValidState Driver’s License

Computer Skills

·       Proficient withExcel, Word, Outlook

·       Ability to use technologyin the field daily

This position is a Full Time Year Round position in Big Sky, Montana.
