How you will make a difference

• Work with customer on Matillion tasks related to the following topics:
• Client and Customer will schedule formal video-conferencing sessions which both Client and Customer will attend to work on the Planning, Implementation, and Testing/Validation tasks.
• Planning and Implementation tasks will be conducted in a joint co-development setting unless Customer agrees that it is appropriate for Client to proceed with tasks without Customer participation.
• a. Planning:
• i. Review the Kronos data used for the Incidental Overtime Report.
• ii. Identify upto five Matillion jobs to be created
• iii. Design the Snowflake schemas/databases necessary to ingest the Kronos data and prepare that data for consumption by R Studio report(s)
• iv. Identify Snowflake masking policies to be applied to the Kronos data
• b. Implementation:
• i. Configure the Matillion and Snowflake environments as necessary to complete technical activities related to the POC.
• ii. Create upto five Matillion jobs to perform ETL/ELT from files extracted from Kronos to Snowflake
• iii. Export and import Matillion jobs to demonstrate the ability to move Matillion jobs to a future, permanent Matillion environment
• c. Testing/Validation:
• i. Validate ETL/ELT
• ii. Validate data masking in Snowflake
• iii. Measure Matillion credit consumption

What you bring to your new team

• 7+ years of experience in Data Warehousing, ETL or Data Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in Snowflake including data ingestion, integration and transformation using Snowflake tools and utilities or other ETL/ELT tools
• 2+ years of experience in Matillion designing and implementing ingestion, integration and transformation of data from multiple data sources and populate data warehouses/data marts preferably on Snowflake or any other data platform
• Must be able to design target database/schema based on the requirements
• Proficient in SQL coding
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills
• Must be client-facing
• Must be independent and a self-starter

This position has an expected Salary range of $75-$80/hr
