Our field-based Software
Sales Specialists are experienced business development professionals who are
equally adept at delivering new revenueandevangelizing to channel
partners to drive sales results through others. Our product portfolio
includes enterprise content management solutions, specifically on-premise and
cloud software licensing and professional services, including XMPie.
**Exceptional performance in this role isdefined by:**
+ **Achieving revenue, profit,and margin goals** by driving new business through two avenues: our direct selling resources andchannel partners. After mastering theXerox XMPie value proposition, you'll be managing a two to six monthsales cycle by qualifying opportunities, cold calling, networking,demonstrating our product portfolio, and selling in to current accounts.
+ **Driving a culture change fromhardware to software sales** within our subsidiaries by establishing credibility with VPs of Sales in yourregion, developing and maintaining strong partnerships with all go to marketunits, and getting results through others - this requires a high degree ofevangelizing and relationship building, including developing a regular cadenceof face-to-face visits and trainings.
+ **Working collaboratively torapidly grow the business.** You'll work closely with an expanded salesteam of business development directors, software engineers and solutionconsultants. Together, you'll respond toRFPs, develop pricing proposals, communicate and understand total cost ofownership, identify industry trends, and maintain records in our CRM.
**Qualificationsthat will help you be successful in this role include:**
+ **3 years of achieving orexceeding quota in field-based software sales**
+ Atrack record of **driving sales revenuethrough direct and indirect channel models** - this is a true hunter/businessdevelopment role that is dependent upon your ability to build solidrelationships in your region
+ Theflexibility and **willingness to learn andramp quickly** with robust training and mentoring, including the ability torespond, adapt, and pivot based on changing priorities
+ A **strong understanding of technology** ,including cloud content management, workflow, document capture, processautomation, networking or storage solutions
+ Theability to **travel regionally** **50%** **or more** - face-to-face training andmentoring are critical to establishing credibility and maintaining strongpartnerships
+ Andof course, **exceptional presentationskills** and **executive presence** are a must
**While thesearen't requirements, these preferred qualifications can help you ramp upfaster:**
+ Salesexperience in the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) or Software as a Service (SaaS)spaces preferred, experience or familiarity with XMPie or XMPie Flexa big plus
+ Bachelor'sdegree preferred
