Xator Corporation is looking for an amazingly talented Personnel Security Policy Analyst (Intelligence) to join our team! In this role you will provide support to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI). The selected candidate will be responsible for researching personnel security clearance processes in the Intelligence Community (IC) and evaluating programs against policy. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the IC mission as well as experience with legislation, history, policy issues, and practical challenges faced by the national security sector.

Clearance Requirement: Active or Current TS w/ a current SCI and Polygraph

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Conduct research in-depth research on security clearance reform initiatives (investigations, adjudications, and polygraph).
  • Use excellent writing and analysis skills to document findings for policy evaluation.
  • Respond to Congressionally Directed Actions (CDAs) when tasked.
  • Apply strong interpersonal and oral briefing skills to brief ODNI leadership on findings.
  • Build metrics tables and other data-based graphics to display security clearance timeliness information discovered in research.


What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience desired; Degree equivalencies accepted:
    • Doctorate (PhD) and 6 years of experience;
    • Master's degree and 8 years of experience;
    • Associate's degree and 12 years of experience;
    • HS or GED and 14 years of experience.
  • Experience in personnel security and comparative analytics.
  • Broad experience with the legislation, history, policy issues, and practical challenges facing security clearance reform initiatives in the national security environment.
  • Extensive experience in collaboration and consensus building across government organizations and industries.
  • Familiarity with the IC and its components, as well as its missions, disciplines, capabilities, and interrelationships.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with appropriate Security Regulations and Policies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with senior leaders from inside and outside the USG, and to coordinate, network, and communicate across the IC.
