The successful candidate will provide leadership and coordination of company financial planning, equity financing, and budget management functions and ensure company accounting procedures and reporting conform to generally accepted accounting principles.
Assist in developing and managing financial processes and internal control procedures, including regulatory and compliance requirements.
Manage the monthly accounting close efficiently and accurately.
Oversee preparation of monthly financial statements to provide accurate and timely reporting and analysis, with comparisons to and variance analysis against prior year and budget.
Assist in analyzing and reviewing transactions for proper GAAP treatment.
Contributes to strategic planning and develops action plans to achieve strategic objectives.
Responsible for integrating the financial plans into the strategic plan and creating metrics to measure progress against goals.
Participate in pivotal decisions as they relate to strategic initiatives and operational models.
Maintain outstanding banking relationships and strategic alliances with vendors and business partners.
Utilize forward-looking models and activity-based analyses to provide financial insight into the organization’s plans and operating budgets.
Supervise, develop and provide guidance to accounting staff.
Other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements / Skills
Bachelor’s in Accounting coupled with CPA with 8+ years of experience.
Mix of public accounting and industry experience strongly preferred.
Experience with publicly traded companies required.
Experienced in valuation of warrants, options, convertible notes.
Outstanding knowledge and understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance and SEC reporting.
Experience In NetSuite
Excellent leadership skills.
