We are seeking a Sr. RF Product Design Engineer to work with existing products as well as new product development. The existing product work would be to develop new features as well as product improvements. The new product development would be working to develop cutting edge RF power supplies and associated products in the power range from 100W to 10kW, with frequency ranges from 50kHZ to 60MHZ.
You would be working in small groups as well as have opportunities to be an individual contributor. To be successful you should be an organized and motivated individual with a desire to help create innovative products, features and controls related to RF power.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, fabricate and implement RF products, product features and product improvements.
- Provide clear data driven proposals and results to the management team and customers.
- Help develop and maintain project plans.
- Facilitate the transfer of designs to manufacturing factories both domestic and overseas.
- Manage, direct and coach a development team of 2-6 co-workers.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or master's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
- 5 or more years of product development experience
- High power (50W - 10kW), High frequency (50kHZ-60MHZ) design experience.
- Proven product design experience and portfolio feature expansion.
- Analog, Digital and Control System modelling and design.
- The candidate should possess skills necessary to innovate, design, simulate and verify circuit performance at the component level, behavioural/architectural level, and should have a strong RF understanding.
- Hands on experience with RF plasma, RF heating application experience preferred.
