Job Description

Make high voltage plastic enclosures utilizing a rotomold machine. Cut plastic enclosures to speck utilizing various power saws. Ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product.

Examine parts for surface defects during assembly.
Load a measured quantity of polymer (usually in powder form) into the appropriate mold.
Initiate heating process by inserting the mold into an oven.
Once the polymer has melted and adhered to the mold wall, the mold will cool, usually by fan
Remove the plastic mold from the machine using a pully system
Load and unload rotomold machine after each run
Scrape and clean molds in between each run
Keep up with the day-to-day schedule to meet customer orders.
Cut plastic enclosures per order.
Use table saw, following all safety protocols and using the correct safety equipment
Use the accurate type of saw blades and maintain sharpness
Keep area dust-free and clean.
Conduct minor maintenance of rotomold machine.
May fabricate parts or install hardware using various shop equipment.
Other duties may be assigned as required.

Qualifications

Tooling experience using saws and other various equipment
Ability to read and understand assembly drawings, instructions and production lists and wire run lists required; the ability to read schematics a plus.
Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) in English.
Able to lift 50-75lbs on a regular basis.
Familiarity with the practice of safe work skills in a manufacturing environment.
Physically able to perform repetitive motion and stand for periods of time.
