The Freight Operations Specialist I position is a vital to both the account management and the customer service side of our business.

The Dallas office located in Victory Park serves as our Corporate Headquarters. ROLE OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Consistent Monday-Friday work schedule, no nights or weekends
  • Communicate daily with both customers and carrier partners
  • Communicate internally with the sales team
  • Maintain a high level of activity over the phone and through our CRM system
  • Ability to research, identify and capitalize on profitable opportunities that are presented daily
  • Ability to understand and negotiate with customers in relation to fees, products and services
  • Ability to establish and expand relationships with key executives and decision makers within each customer and territory
  • Serve as a liaison between UPS, the WWE Corporate Support Team, and WWE franchise offices in the resolution of day-to-day issues and questions.
  • Have a thorough understanding of and the ability to support the company’s proprietary systems.
  • Have a basic understanding of and ability to troubleshoot issues of UPS’ proprietary systems
  • Provide first line support via phone and email
  • Take ownership of incoming issues/requests and be proactive with communication
  • Respond to inquiries in a timely manner
  • Troubleshoot basic issues prior to redirecting for resolution
  • Research and evaluate new technologies to further knowledge
  • Other responsibilities as defined by management


WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

  • 0 – 5 years of experience is ideal
  • Bachelors Degree, ideally in communications, business, marketing, management or other business-related field (preferred)
  • Outstanding collaboration and communication skills at multiple levels
  • Comfortable in a fast paced, results-oriented environment
  • Exceptional written, verbal and non-verbal communication skill
  • Customer oriented mindset
  • Possess exceptional communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • Maintain a pleasant work attitude
  • Be a motivated team player with a strong desire to learn and succeed in a fast paced environment
  • Demonstrate eagerness to acquire knowledge and skills, continually looking for ways to expand job capabilities
  • Show commitment, dedication, and accountability to work and follow through on all projects, goals, and aspects of the job
  • Build a logical approach to address problems or opportunities. Present problem analyses and recommend solutions to others
  • Serve as an escalation point for UPS Support Admin (RS7PhL)
