01 The Job As the brand guardian, provide leadership to guide World Vision USA's efforts to grow brand awareness and drive all brand health metrics to new heights. You'll collaborate and work with a talented and passionate team internal and external stakeholders to educate, align, and consistently convey World Vision USA's brand principles/guidelines into all expressions of the brand. Be the architect developing and implementing programs and initiatives designed to amplify our brand strategy and increase brand awareness. Consistency is important so you'll find yourself providing direction and guidance to both internal creative staff and outside agency resources to ensure visual and verbal brand consistency is realized. You have a vision and firm grasp of where the brand is living now and heading towards in the future and use that to partner with appropriate leadership and staff to define short and long-term brand development goals as well as recommend programs and activities to achieve those goals. The larger World Vision International partnership is global in scale so you'll meet regularly with global brand leaders and then bring back and disseminate resources and learnings to our World Vision USA marketers. Be on-point to manage our internal brand website, distribution of global brand guidelines, and other brand assets/tools/templates that enable marketers to do amazing work. Develop and present training materials on the brand. As Brand Development Manager be responsible for overseeing brand reviews and approvals including management of annual brand audit. Along the way you help carry out our Christian organization's mission, vision, and strategies as well as personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign. As a World Vision employee we ask that you keep Christ central in your individual and corporate life. 02 What Success Looks Like You're the catalyst responsible for driving greater implementation of the brand to internal stakeholders and outside agency resources. You assist the senior leadership team in making strategic decisions on how to maximize opportunities and minimize risks by providing insightful analysis and recommendations based on annual brand tracker. You have a strong commitment and rigor around staying abreast of technological advancements and tools that impact the communications landscape. By virtue of this World Vision USA's communications are found to be consistently highly effective and in-step with emerging technology.

05 You Bring A Bachelor's degree in branding, marketing, communications, related field or equivalent (8 years) work experience. In addition to education or education equivalent, the role requires 10 years of work experience in marketing, branding and/or communications, preferably for a large, complex, international organization garnering significant media and brand awareness. Prefer direct experience working with agencies (in-house or external) to develop brand-building communications.
06 Additional Skills We're Interested In You have self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm that shows up in your highly effective relationship building and negotiation skills with internal and external clients. You are the proverbial team player that works well with colleagues from various functions/departments possessing the nuanced but important ability to influence the work of others without direct reporting accountability. To accompany that you can function autonomously, hitting deadlines and moving projects through to completion with minimal supervision. A fast-paced cadence to the work? You thrive in this type of environment in part because you're flexible and adaptive as scenarios change. Bottom line is you're someone who rolls up your sleeves and gets the job done. You're able to speak to and show examples of your amazing work (we'll be all ears). Strong understanding of the overall marketing mix and its role in helping a brand build awareness, familiarity, favorability and trust. Strong analytical skills including the ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations.
