Workonomics is currently looking for a dynamic and personable Sales Account Executive to join our team. As the in-house Account Executive, you will find business opportunities and manage customer relationships. You'll be directly responsible for the preservation and expansion of our customer base.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in B2B sales. We expect the Sales Account Executive to be a reliable professional, with superior customer service skills, that is able to balance customer orientations and a results-driven approach.

The overarching goal for the Sales Account Executive is to identify opportunities with prospects and new clients and build them into long-term, profitable relationships.

Day-to-day duties include: meeting with clients to assess needs, sharing client order details with internal staff, confirming that client orders are satisfied, and helping to facilitate a positive working relationship with all employees.

Applicants should have their own, reliable vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the acquisition of new sales and assistance with the retention of existing clients
  • Fulfill new sales performance goals identified in the Account Executive compensation plan
  • Participate in pre-sales calls, create and deliver customized sales presentations (in person or online)
  • Provide written proposals and subject-matter expertise for staffing solutions
  • Cultivate, maintain, and engage clients in order to promote services and achieve revenue growth objectives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure retention of revenue from year to year
  • Provide territory market and competitive information to the company for internal business decisions and positions


  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field
  • Experience with selling staffing services is preferred. The candidate must also have a proven track record of balancing sales for prospective and existing clients
  • Minimum of 3 years of B2B sales experience
  • Self-motivated with time management skills and the ability to meet urgent timelines
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Superior organizational skills and keen attention to details
  • Personal vehicle and comfortable with 50% or more local, work-related travel
  • Base salary plus commission.
