Customer Support Clerk

Roanoke, VA

Currently seeking a Customer Support Clerk in the Roanoke area. The ideal candidates for this role must be independent and have strong customer service background along with excellent decision making and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities of the Customer Support Clerk

· Support the call center, collections, billing and RFI teams by analyzing, researching and resolving questions and issues

· Assist with the creation of the monthly Data Collection and Billing Calendar

· Process cash payments received in the Roanoke office

· Run weekly and month-end aging archive and collections master update

· Process monthly invoicing for Customer Service

· In the event of phone issues, handle emergency calls

Requirements of the Customer Support Clerk

· High School Diploma or GED required

· Associates Degree preferred

· Previous customer service experience from an office setting

· Organized, detail oriented, excellent listening and problem-solving skills and the ability to follow procedures and standards

· Strong decision-making skills and ability to exercise sound judgement

· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point

· Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build successful relationships across all levels of the organization

· Must maintain the ability to pass DOT drug screen
