Job Description
Michigan-based chemical distributor which focuses on the following markets: paints and coatings, industrial, ink and adhesives. Employee will be a member of team responsible for working in the warehouse, making sure that all orders are received and picked accurately.
Outcomes:
Load and unload trucks
Pick and pack orders with 100% accuracy
Maintain clean work area
Other general labor duties as assigned
Adjectives:
Clean, some chemical odor, teamwork, neat and orderly
Competencies:
Physically capable to perform duties of the job, including standing on feet for length of shift, with contact bending, twisting, pulling, pushing.
Able to lift up to 60 lbs repetitively
Able to read, write, and understand English
Able to meet strict attendance requirements, including arriving promptly for scheduled shifts and working through entire shift. Schedule will tentatively run from 9: 00 a.M. To 2: 00 p.M., but is subject to change depending on client needs.
Skills:
At least 6 months of forklift experience
Detail oriented
