Job Description

Immediate need for experienced Administrative Office Assistant / Customer Service who are seeking a full time job with a stable company. Looking for someone who has handled heavy volume of calls and emails who are able to manage several accounts. As a Call Center Customer Service Representative, you will be part of an in-bound call center, answering questions regarding products, processing orders over the phone as well as email.

Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Administrative Office Assistant / Customer Service Role:

The Administrative Assistant / Office Assistant will provide support to assist with the day-to-day activities of the Purchasing department. Create and review purchase orders Enter product and invoices into system Scheduling deliveries and tracking container progress for direct containers to our location as well as drop shipments. Follow purchasing procedure and policies as directed by Purchasing Manager. Maintain timely turn-around on all requisitions and purchases to insure adequate delivery of products and services. Partner with Warehouse/Production Manager and Purchasing Manager to maintain inventory levels

  • Interact with customers via inbound telephone calls to provide information and assistance
  • Achieve productivity standards and goals while maintaining the highest level of customer service
  • User computer system to track, gather information, etc.

Administrative Office Assistant / Customer Service Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills required
  • Experience in construction is a plus
  • 3+ year's of recent communication via phone in a sales, telemarketing, or customer service / office administrative environment
  • Ability to work well independently and also contribute to the overall success of the team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Superior interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and flexible to adapt to change
  • Ability to type 40 words per minute
