Worcester Eisenbrandt, a construction company specializing in historic preservation, is seeking an experience “Finishing Carpenters"  in Charlottesville Virginia

General information about the position:

• Knowledge of finishing systems
• Color matching skill
• Verifies structural integrity with plumb bob and carpenter’s level.
• Experience with touch up and field repair of clear finishes and stains
• Match original finish appearance and create finishing system spec.

• Fits and installs Commercial prefabricated window frames, doors, door frames, weather stripping, interior and exterior trim and finish hardware, such as locks, letter drops, and kick plates.
• Restoration of wood cornices, doors, windows and other needed wood restoration.
• Installation of restored items.

Physical Requirements

• Strong work ethic of integrity and honesty strives for excellence in all activities employing accompanying communication.
• Able to wear common (FIT) protective or safety equipment such as safety shoes, glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and hard hats when needed.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds.
