Tax Staff Experienced - Investment Management

Wolf & Company is looking for experienced Tax Staff to join our growing tax team. As a tax professional at Wolf & Company, you will focus on clients within the asset management industry and will gain technical knowledge and industry experience working with hedge funds, private equity funds, funds-of-funds, registered investment advisors, and family offices.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of partnership and S corporation income tax returns
- Preparation of foreign filings including Forms 5471, 8621, and 8865
- Preparation of partnership withholding forms including Forms 1042 and Form 8804
- Preparation of partnership capital accounts and allocations
- Analysis of securities transactions including wash sales, constructive sales, straddles, and qualified dividends
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team helping to provide industry knowledge and experience
- Build and manage effective working relationships with clients
- Perform other tax special project work and consulting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with concentration in accounting
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Minimum one year of experience including internships
- Utilizes and develops proficient understanding of tax programs and tax software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated leadership and relationship skills
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees
