Job Description

Wolf is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our growing and well-established national Top 100 CPA firm. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for generating and cultivating new business along with managing all aspects of lead generation for Wolf’s three (3) lines of service; Audit, Tax, and Risk Management including Wolf’s Cyber professional services. Daily, you will procure or create targeted lists fitting our client profile and contact individuals on these lists in a number of ways, ultimately with the goal of identifying warm or hot leads to be passed along to the sales team. The Inside Sales Representative is a member of the business development team in the Boston office, and reports to the Director of Business Development, with additional supervision provided by the niche leaders. This position is a full-time, year-round position, and would suit an individual who has a desire to develop a sales career in professional and related services.


** Candidates located on the East Coast preferred **


Responsibilities:


 Research (50%)

  • Research and develop target lists for multiple service offerings 
  • Conduct in-depth research on high-value targets as directed and required
  • Review newsreels and other sources to continually add new targets to the database

 Lead Generation (50%)

  • Conduct targeted outreach via cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn and other methods to obtain leads 
  • Record all activities in Salesforce CRM
  • Provide regular updates and reports to Director of Business Development on all activities
  • Liaise with colleagues to expand knowledge of potential service offerings and intelligence on desired targets

 Relationship Management

  • Maintain contact with key executives at targets, which have not developed into warm leads but have promise
  • Develop persuasive and engaging follow up messages and activities
  • Be creative in how to continue to develop relationships in a professional manner

 Special Projects

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Education, Experience & Skills:


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • One (1) year of outbound call activity and 1-3 years of inside sales experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Audit/Tax/IT services desired but not required
  • Solid business and sales knowledge
  • Strong listening/comprehension skills
  • Ability to build rapport quickly, and be persuasive without making the customer feel pressured
  • Ability to stay composed and objective
  • Conversational, patient and confident, with a positive attitude
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability in web-based research
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and prioritize work assignments
  • Proven record of projecting a professional image
  • Ability to develop relationships with diverse personalities; tactful, mature and flexible
  • Experience with LinkedIn and Salesforce CRM preferred
