Job Description

As WithMe’s Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and supporting our SaaS infrastructure and which will be your primary day-to-day responsibility. Additionally, you will enhance our internal support through excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Our ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of network support experience in a technical role, a proven record of success, and a desire and commitment to be challenged and grow professionally. This role reports to the Director of Operations. This is a 100% remote position with some travel to trade shows and events. This position offers company equity via stock options.

The Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Printer administration support of drums, toner, etc.
  • Diagnose, isolate, and resolve hardware and firmware issues over the phone
  • Provide telephone, remote, and on-site support (where applicable)
  • Local Network Administration and printer network connectivity support
  • Common Network Protocols: TCP/IP and DHCP
  • Create and document ticket status, update tickets with resolutions
  • Support printers and download drivers
  • Supporting both MAC and PC environments
  • Testing and maintaining all firmware/software implemented on our devices (security programs, printer firmware, VPN software, etc.)
  • Discuss and present technical information to management and clients in an organized, professional manner
  • Supply assurance – You may help facilitate the ordering of printer supplies for locations
  • Client support – You will interact with our clients when they have technical questions about our solution
  • Act as a technical escalation point for our company
  • Setup, configure and install employee profile using G suite
  • Device imaging and QA – You will be a key person in the preparation of devices, whether initially imaging them or helping QA them
  • Go-Live Implementation –You will help facilitate “go live” processes both internally and externally

To Be Successful:

Our ideal Technical Support Specialist is passionate about getting things done on time and with a high degree of excellence, and as such, qualified candidates will possess:

  • 3+ years of experience in network and/or security administration
  • Experience with networking, printer device configuration, and management interfaces
  • Experience with IP addressing and subnetting
  • Strong understanding of DNS and DHCP in complex networking environments
  • Experience with network troubleshooting and analysis tools
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Preferred Certifications and Education:
    • 2 or 4-year degree in Information Technology, Network/Systems/Security Administration, Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent combination of education and related experience/training
    • Cisco CCNA, A+, or Network +
  • Ability to work remotely
