Your business analysis tasks related to areas and activities such as the Data Warehouse, Reporting, Tax Sample, etc., include:Identifying and documenting changes to data warehouse data sourcesDeveloping and maintaining test scripts and scenariosPerforming, monitoring, and leading testing effortsDocumenting business, data, and reporting requirementsSupporting Project Management activitiesCommunicating and coordinating with a wide variety of DOR employees. Position SummaryPerform testing tasks supporting Business Intelligence Services Section responsible areas and functions (e.g. Data Warehouse, Discovery, Reports, Tax Sample, etc.).Perform business process analysis and support tasks for Business Intelligence Services Section responsible areas and functions (e.g. Data Warehouse, Discovery, Reports, Tax Sample, etc.).Follow Department of Revenue (DOR) project management methodology. Salary Information Annual salary is $46,904 to $62,400 ($22.55 to $30.00 hourly), depending on qualifications, plus excellent benefits. This IS Business Automation Analyst position is in Pay Schedule/Range 07-35. Current state employees pay will be based on the provisions in the Compensation Plan. You must complete a twelve-month probationary period. Job Details The Department of Revenue will conduct criminal background, tax compliance checks and fingerprint checks on candidates prior to offer of hire. Interview results may be reused in accordance with the State of WI interview reuse policy.Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States. Qualifications Minimum-qualified candidates will have education, training, or professional work experience in each of the following:Evaluating processes or procedures to identify process improvements.Documenting procedures and/or writing business requirements.Developing test case scenarios and/or conducting user Acceptance Testing.Participating on teams for IT system changes. Well-qualified candidates will have professional work experience in a minimum of one (1) the following (in addition to the minimum qualifications):Collecting/analyzing data to make recommendations such as for process changes, system enhancements, etc.IT project management.
