Diesel Mechanic Technician

Job Summary:

Our Diesel Mechanics play an important role in ensuring that our equipment runs properly. You will be responsible for the preventative maintenance and repair of diesel engines, trucks, including company-owned Kenworth, Freightliner, International, Hino and Mack trucks as well as Forklifts.

Compensation: $28 to $30 per hour based on experience

Requirements:

• 3 or more years of Class B/forklift mechanical experience (Required)
• At least 3 years of diesel engine repair experience (Required)
• At least 3 years of mechanical knowledge (Required)
• ASE Certification (Preferred)

Physical Requirements

• Stand or walk for long periods of time.
• Use arms and hands to reach for, handle or manipulate objects.
• Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift items weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance.
• Stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
• See well (naturally or with correction).
• Eye-hand coordination.
• Good physical fitness.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Marietta, GA 30012: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Diesel engine repair: 3 years (Required)
• Mechanical knowledge: 3 years (Required)
• ASE Certification (Preferred)
• Class B License (Preferred)
