Job Description

Responsible for customer requests via email, phone, or fax. Problem solves as needed, communicate requests to other department heads. Ability to listen to customer’s needs/requests and determine how to best resolve need or request. Responsible for creating an excellent customer experience.

Essential knowledge, job duties and responsibilities

  • Check order status, answer questions regarding shipment dates
  • Answer product questions for customers
  • Check on warranty claims for customers
  • Help troubleshoot product issues for customers, escalate as needed
  • Check on product availability as requested
  • Work closely with Shipping, Accounting, Purchasing and Production
  • Back up to order entry as needed
  • Follow up with all customer’s requests in a timely manner
  • Confirm customer’s orders
  • Minimal travel may be required

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience with Office Suite specifically Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Attention to Detail
  • Use of Fax, Printers, Scanners, and Copiers
  • Excellent Typing skills with accuracy
  • Excellent Phone Skills
  • Verbal and Written communication skills
  • Work independently with ability to organize priorities
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to learn product descriptions, part numbers, options, etc.
  • Comfortable working with customers face-to face
