Wilson Elser is currently seeking a Paralegal to work with a team to assist a national transportation client with risk transfer through contractual tenders. The position can be based in either our Seattle, Chicago, Orlando, or White Plains offices. This is an excellent opportunity for someone that has claims management or in-house experience and is looking to grow in their careers and be a part of a national client services team. Candidates with a JD, or LLM who are not interested in becoming a practicing attorney are encouraged to apply. The Position Qualifications Must have a Bachelor's degree; paralegal certificate preferred 5+ years’ experience in a legal support role required Ability to review and understand contracts required Claims management or corporate in-house experience preferred but not required Experience managing a tender process strongly preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to integrate into a fast-paced environment Adept at using technology and searching databases Responsibilities Manage tender process across the country Determine proper party to tender and draft tender letters Review contracts and update tender letters appropriately Gather all certificates and contracts required to support a claim tender Track and follow up on status of claim tenders with carriers, brokers, and/or counsel Maintain daily and weekly communication with supervising attorneys and client Why Should You Apply?
