The Schedule Coordinator serves as Wilson Homecare's primary contact with employees and clients regarding all scheduling needs. As such, you must have excellent customer service skills and can effectively communicate with a wide spectrum of individuals. This position requires exceptional professionalism, compassion, patience, and understanding. The appropriate candidate will be able to think on their feet and address a variety of issues as they arise. Each day is unique and will come with a plethora of challenges and rewards. Flexibility and the desire for change is a must.
The On-Call Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for organizing and coordinating field staff (nurse aides, nurses) with assignments in home care and for documenting and communicating all relevant staffing issues to others on the administrative team. The Schedule Coordinator that we seek will take all after hours calls Sunday thru Thursday 6pm-8am, utilizing a company cell phone and laptop in their home. Some nights there may be heavy afterhours calls, and some may not. This position is integral to making sure all shifts are secured and our clients are receiving the care they need.

-Prefer experience in supervising, coaching and developing staff.
-Desire previous administrative experience in customer service, scheduling, operations, or management.
-Experience in a call center environment is beneficial.
-Must have basic computer skills.
-Must be comfortable on the phone.
The initial orientation period will require a Monday thru Friday 8am-5pm schedule in the office. After the lead scheduler is confident in your skills, you will assume the after hours call duty from Sunday thru Thursday 6pm-8am.
