Legal Researcher – Personal Injury Aviation

Impact:

As our Legal Researcher in our Aviation department, you will have the opportunity to lead the research efforts for the victims and their families of injury and death resulting from aviation incidents.

Daily Tasks:

• Conduct party investigation including gathering information on party heirs, defendants, and anyone with liability.
• Conduct research and analysis on legal, business, and government agencies utilizing electronic resources under specific deadlines.
• Prepare memoranda for matters researched, summarizing background, and identifying and analyzing factual and legal issues.
• Access and analyze court dockets and record case and party information and history.
• Bring a team-oriented and positive attitude to our Los Angeles office.

Your Skills:

• Superior writing and communication skills.
• Excellent legal research skills with a preference to experience using Westlaw.
• Experience working in personal injury or aviation environment preferred.
• At least one year of experience working in the legal field.
• Proficient mathematical skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
