We are seeking a full-time Business Office Manager to join our team of exceptional and motivated directors and caregivers. We are looking for individuals that want to make a difference in the lives of those around them, want to be challenged and rewarded.
*Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent for two-year college or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (Accounting preferred.)
*Long term care experience preferred.
*Directly supervises employees and volunteers. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the business office. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
*Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of team work and team concept.
*Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
*Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
*Ability to define problems, collect data, establish fact, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
