Distributor of Barber and Beauty products with ownership founded in 1897 and headquartered in Williamsport, PA, is an industry leader that sells proprietary products as well as distribution of national brands to other distributors, barbershops, government institutions, stores and schools is currently looking for the right candidate to join our team with the common goal of helping to accelerate our growth plan as well as the successful candidate's career.

About the position - Responsibilities for the ideal candidate

We are looking for a self-motivated, self-starter with a positive attitude, excellent phone & organization skills, and have the ability to absorb information quickly. We provide a casual work environment and competitive benefits to our employees.

What's required of you:

• Selling barber supply products and other consumables

• Lead generation using Google, Instagram, TikTok for new customers.

• Source new wholesale opportunities independently through research and outbound sales calls, emailing and relationship building with potential wholesale customers, barber distributors, barbershops, and other potential customers for our catalog of barber supplies.

• Understand customer needs and requirements to maintain a great customer/client relationship.

• Ability to quickly assimilate the technical knowledge of barber and beauty supplies to enhance service and sales potential.

• The ideal candidate must have an outgoing personality and be enthusiastic about the barber industry!

• Excellent organization skills with the ability to track and pursue leads effectively.

Full Time (8:00 – 5:00 M-F) Base Pay ($35K) and Monthly commission based on sales performance (Potential Comm. $1K-$1.5K/Mo) Benefits provided after 90 days

Qualifications

• 3-5 years relevant work experience in a sales role

• Proven ability to make outbound calls and gain new accounts. Must be comfortable selling over the phone with a Smile & Dial attitude!

• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

• Experience with MAS (SAGE) or other computer operating system a plus.

• Positive attitude and personality with strong work ethic

• Reliable and energetic

• Education – some college or equivalent work history

• Experience or knowledge of barber / beauty supplies helpful
