Position Title Project Manager – Telecom
Location Kapolei, Hawaii
Directs, coordinates, and exercises functional authority within areas of assigned responsibility for planning, organization, scheduling, control, coordination, integration, and completion of assigned projects between all Subcontractor or self-performed disciplines and all other project participants under the terms of Contract Award. Responsible for; material acquisitions, plan and specification review, RFI’s, coordination meetings, subcontractor interface, scheduling, job cost, resource tracking, estimating, job close out, test results, final inspections and other construction related duties. May be required to assist with proposal development.
Responsible for the overall management and coordination of Contract after award.
Serve as the central point of contract for the day-to-day operations of assigned contracts
Meet or otherwise communicate with project customer on a regular basis to ensure that customer expectations are being met or exceeded. Communicate early, communicate often.
Ensure a thorough understanding and knowledge of contract plans and specifications. Ensure all customer requirements are met with consistency resulting in customer satisfaction.
Establish project expectations for quality workmanship, safety and professionalism and manage assigned staff to perform to the established standards.
Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects to achieve successful execution of every project.
Development of Submittal Register and individual submittals.
Works with Operations Manager to complete the physical installation of a projects or multiple projects.
Provides checks and balances for compliance with standards and vision alignment. Management involves regular reviews for accountability and successful management of project, stakeholders and suppliers.
Utilizes current cost tracking program to track every project cost as well as overall program costs.
Provides job cost tracing and reports to Operations Manager throughout every project stage
Champion safety and ensure compliance with all safety requirements.
Monitor work performed; analyze performance and establish corrective actions and controls.
Anticipates potential schedule or priority delays, plans and implements alternative actions.
Every project is to be completed in accordance with the project plans and specifications, on schedule and under budget with no lost time accidents.
Respond to off-duty recalls meeting priority or emergency work requirements.
Prepare daily reports, weekly progress, monthly status and final project documentation.
Prepare, review and gain approval of monthly invoices to Client.
Review and ensure Subcontractor / Vender invoice accuracy, the bond and insurance are current and coordinate with Accounting Depts.
Participate in Home Office and field meetings with project team members.
Ensure QC reports, testing requirements are followed and document results.
Examine subcontractor means and methods, material delivery schedules and identify constraints.
Review and ensure change order requests from vendors and subcontractors, fully establish entitlement, conform to all contract requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
1. 2 or more years of Project Management experience in Telecom with data or VoIP.
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, Projects and PowerPoint).
3. U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent resident status.
