Position Title Human Resources Generalist - Manufacturing
Location: Rock Hill, SC
The Human Resources Coordinator position is responsible for providing excellent customer service and a wide range of HR support to our team members. The successful candidate must maintain confidentiality and integrity of HR and payroll data. The role of the HR Coordinator includes but is not limited to: administering FMLA, Sick Pay, Long-Term Disability, and Life Insurance claims; managing pre-employment and random drug testing; administering and explaining benefits and serve as liaison between employees and insurance carriers; conducting New Hire Orientation; coordinating and managing Open Enrollment; coordinating HR-related training initiatives; assisting teammates with payroll, benefit, insurance and HR questions; assisting in managing various company sponsored programs and/or projects such as: community outreach, service awards, scholarships, education reimbursements, etc.; maintaining and auditing physical and electronic personnel files; acting as a payroll backup; planning and coordinating events; traveling to various locations as needed; and assisting teammates and working on department projects as needed. This role will require a minimum of 15% travel. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within the company; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead and uphold safety practices, policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
1. Associates or Bachelor’s Degree.
2. 4 or more years of Human Resource Administration experience.
3. SAP payroll and HR systems experience preferred.
4. Benefits Administration Experience preferred.
5. PHR/SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
