Job Description

Customer Service Representative (CSR) / 8:00 am to 5:00 pm shift

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Scheduling of 3rd party carrier freight for outbound loads.
• Manages the dock appointment schedule.
• Assist in coordinating the movement of trailers to and from outside warehouses and distribution centers.
• Handle order processing and order fulfillment.
• Very high focus on Customer Service, face-to-face, phone, and email.
• Assist in coordinating the movement of trailers to and from outside warehouses and distribution centers.
• Create shipping labels and bills of lading.

Computer and data entry skills a must.

Competencies:
• Ability to work fairly independently.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from Supervisor or Lead.
• Ability to work in a variety of climates and conditions; warehouse facilities that are hot in the summer and cold in the winter.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Must possess intermediate computer skills.
• Accurate data entry skills.
• Must be detail-oriented and pay close attention to accuracy.
• Excellent planning, organizational and communication skills are required.
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate with cross-functional teams.
• Trouble shoot, analyze, and problem solve in a short period of time.

Requirements:
• High School Diploma
• Speak, Read, and Write English
• Ability to type, and to use Excel and MS Office
• Prior Warehouse Shipping/Receiving experience
