Meter Technician

White House Utility District is hiring meter technicians. Meter Technicians are responsible for collecting accurate consumption data and investigating and resolving discrepancies and/or abnormalities with meters and related equipment. Wages will be negotiated based on prior experience, applicable certifications and licenses, and other credentials.

Typical activities of a meter technician include:

• Driving assigned routes to collect meter readings
• Investigating and resolving abnormalities with meters and related equipment
• Investigating, mitigating, and resolving customer inquiries related to water usage and/or meter equipment

To qualify, a candidate must have a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license.
