Under moderate supervision of customer service manager, receives and enters phone orders. Receives and processes requests for product information, samples, price quotation, and order status. Coordinates with other departments’ information regarding orders and provides proactive services to customers. Performs duties within the sales department where customer contact is a prime responsibility.
Initiates, cooperates or participates fully as appropriate in using the team approach in solving problems and suggesting improvements that enables Whip Mix to live up to its mission and values.
Job Functions and Responsibilities
Receives and enters orders into the ERP system. Handles requests for purchase orders, order changes, adjustments and cancellations from dealers, end-users and sales. Follow-up on all customer inquires provide product and sales information. (Essential)
Enter all orders for assigned dealer accounts, maintaining constant order status for these orders by utilizing the Fourth Shift modules. Monitors and communicates order status to assigned dealers and keeps customers informed on all orders. (Ex. Pro numbers, expected delivery dates, pricing and product availability.) (Essential)
Handles all requests from sales, telesales, and marketing including sample requests, literature and order information pertinent to a particular customer.
