Managed Care Financial Analyst

Wheeler Staffing Partners is hiring a Managed Care Financial Analyst in Dallas, TX. The Managed Care Financial Analyst will compile, analyze, and interpret financial claims level information for the Managed Care team. Managed Care Financial Analyst Responsibilities:

Develop/refine No Surprises Act Out of Network expected reimbursement consistent with new legislation
Identify claims to submit to the IDR (Independent Dispute Resolution component of the NSA)
Assist with the development of IDR package submissions
Assist with the ongoing submission of IDR packages
Track the outcomes of the IDR decisions
Analyze IDR outcomes and continually fine-tune out-of-network NSA pricing expectations
Manage / coordinate the work-flow of IDR package submissions with Conifer and Managed Care Legal
Assist with NSA-specific database creation and maintenance
Perform research and analysis as required
Participate in special or ad-hoc projects

Managed Care Financial Analyst Requirements:

Bachelors degree, preferably in business, information technology, healthcare management or related field
4-6+ years of relevant business experience
Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge
Strong Microsoft Access / SQL and other software tools used for data management
SQL writing skills
Detailed knowledge of Hospital Billing, Claims Adjudication, Managed Care Contracting and Database Analysis is required
Exceptional Organizational and Communication skills
