Job Description

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a fully remote HRIS Analyst. The HRIS Analyst, serves as a technical point-of-contact for the HR Team and ensures data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. HRIS Analyst Responsibilities:
  • Oversees and maintains optimal function of the HRIS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.
  • Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
  • Collaborates with Vice President of HR to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions.
  • Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.
  • Programs custom functions and documentation such as API, ED File feeds, automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.
  • Compiles data, reports, summaries, and logs for senior executives and HR staff.
  • Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, IT&S, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects.
  • Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
  • Manages projects and process improvement, including applying change management experience to facilitate movement to new levels of quality.
  • Recommends process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy
  • Performs system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing and implementation of Oracle, Dayforce, and Success Factors system upgrades or patches.
  • Collaborates with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix.
  • Maintains Oracle, Dayforce, and Success Factors system tables.
  • Documents processes and results.
  • Provides production support, including researching and resolving system problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Generates reports/queries, including writing, maintaining and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools.
  • Assists in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs.
  • Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
  • Conducts training, including developing user procedures, guidelines and documentation.
  • Trains users on system processes/functionality.
  • Maintains awareness of current trends in HR Technology with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies.
  • Examines trends in information systems training, materials and techniques.
  • Through classes, reading, CBTs or other mechanisms, continuously increases both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge.
HRIS Analyst Requirements:
  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Master' s degree in human resource management, MIS, computer science or related degree preferred.
  • SHRM or HRCI certification preferred
  • At least five years of related experience required.
  • Prior experience with Oracle HCM and Ceridian Dayforce required
  • Ability to communicate effectively, professionally, and courteously
  • Ability to use discretion and judgmental when handling matters of a sensitive or confidential nature
  • Advanced time management, problem solving, customer service, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Advanced collaboration and team working skills.
  • Ability to be forward thinking and take initiative to accomplish goals and objectives of the department
  • Intermediate level experience with computers and Microsoft office products
  • Strong analytical skills and previous experience in capturing HR metrics and producing reports.
  • Ability prioritize competing tasks and to seek assistance when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of our hierarchy, policies, procedures, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
  • Ability to pay attention to details and to meet deadlines.
  • Intermediate Level knowledge human resource disciplines, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
