Title: Assembly Secondary Operator
Position: Full-Time l Non-Exempt
Location: Ansonia, CT
Manager: Operations Manager
Reports to: Operator Lead
SUMMARY OF ROLE
Primarily operate machines that perform secondary type of operations and provide support to Cleanroom Assembly area by performing the manufacturing, packaging and labeling processes used in the assembly of Clean Room and other product lines to ensure products are shipped on time and to our customer’s requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Follows plan daily work schedule.
Works with other assembly team members to correctly identify, package and assemble product.
Performs line clearance activities.
Sort, cut and pack parts per customer specifications.
Inspect parts as needed.
Correctly fills out required paperwork.
Participate in operator rotation for machines.
Serve as support to cell operator as needed on product pick-up and disposition of lots of product from and to various areas within the production areas.
Maintain quality of parts being produced.
Operate heat-sealing, welding, and test equipment. Including de-gating and assembly fixtures.
Operates injection molding machines, trims, and visually inspects parts using a microscope and performs.
Train new assemblers in specific job assemblies by Operators Lead instruction
