POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for increasing the size of WesternTrust’s hospitality portfolio in Snowmass Village and Aspen, CO. This will be achieved by persuading individual property owners to sign up for our short-term rental/property management services. It will require building relationships with homeowners, developers, real-estate professionals and other sources of leads.
You will work remotely, however you should be local to Colorado, understand the market and be familiar with the properties and all key players in this market. We offer a comprehensive and attractive commissions model that will continue to pay dividends for several years (with a caveat on the commitment from the property owner.)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Initially, Employee and Company have identified the following duties and responsibilities:
Plan, execute and continually update GTM plans for your market and surrounding markets with growth opportunities, in conjunction with the Director of Hospitality Growth and the President of Hospitality.
Conduct both direct and community outreach to develop a lead pipeline and add properties to the property management program.
Respond to inbound leads provided by the company through a multi-channel campaign strategy, including referrals.
Guide new owners through the onboarding cycle and support operations to increase owner satisfaction and retention.
REQUIREMENTS:
Fluent in English
Over 7 years of B2C sales experience
Over 3 years of sales experience in hospitality and/or property management
Experience and comfort with managing a sales pipeline in a CRM system
Strong communication & organizational skills
Works well independently as well as in a team
Extremely Customer Service oriented
Must live in/around the Aspen region or be incredibly familiar.
COMPENSATION
Base salary of $60k - $80k DOE
Commission based on realized unit performance and retention for units signed up directly:
Commissions paid quarterly as follows:
12% of year 1 company commission on rental revenue
8% of year 2 company commission on rental revenue
4% of year 3 company commission on rental revenue
2% of year 4-6 company commission on rental revenue
Commission on multi-unit opportunities to be defined on a per opportunity basis.
