Job Description

Can you sell ice to Eskimos? A pen to someone asking you to sell them a pen? Was "Cookies are for closers!" your first full sentence? Then we want you (to apply)!

Experience in the insurance industry is preferred, but isn't strictly necessary.

We're looking for a self-motivated sales person with strong morals, a philosophy focused on service and relationships, and who likes winning! We want you to become a small business owner's hero.

WBPI Sales agents are personally trained by the CEO and this territory comes with a support service rep to take most of the paperwork off your desk. We would grant you the entire states of Illinois & Wisconsin to conquer. Illinois is already our #2 market, but there's still room to double it. Wisconsin is your oyster with 300+ bowling centers to go after exclusively.

For Illinois, you'd inherit management of a $1.2M book of business, which would pay you a residual base of at least $35,000 a year depending on your compensation structure decision.

The sky is the limit, but this opportunity offers you a targeted, niche market with an exclusive territory in which to become an expert. As an exclusive program, you'll never be blocked and we rarely get beat on price or coverage.

Compensation is customizable to maximize your motivation, but typically involves:

1. A base salary which transitions into commission only.
2. New business commission ranging from 5%-7.5% of premium
3. Renewal commissions ranging from 3%-6% of premium
4. Platinum PPO Health insurance (75% employer/25% employee share) after 90 days of employment
5. Dental insurance (100% paid by company)
6. 401k matching after 1 year of employment

Minimum Requirements:
1. Experience successfully selling to businesses
2. Degree in anything other than underwater basket weaving or gender studies (or no degree!)
3. Clean criminal background check
4. A reliable vehicle
5. Must live in Illinois or Wisconsin, preferably within an hour of the border
