DescriptionWestaff is partnering with a well established North Haven company who has a need for a: CUSTOMER SERVICE REP! This is a call center environment, and the pay rate is $15/hour to start. This is a possible Temp to Perm opportunity.
We are looking for someone with call center or other related experience and an excellent and upbeat phone manner!General Hours:30 to 40 hours per week, depending on scheduling needsMonday - Thursday: noon. - 6:00 p.m.Friday: 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
with flexibility to work earlier and weekend hours. Position hours may vary throughout the week.The Customer Service/Call Center Rep will: Process and accurately enter orders received through e-mail, telephone, or fax.Enter orders and sample requests into computerized system using numeric and alpha entry.Assist/support customers and sales personnel with orders, samples, questions, etc.Participate in up-selling programs for the department.Process pick-up / return tasks related to submission to State Regulatory Department.Enter requests for same-day-delivery orders, monthly close-out, pre-sell, and holiday items.Review pricing applicable to customer accounts to ensure order accuracy.Have knowledge of Ecommerce site, application process and customer registration. Requirements & Attributes of the Customer Service Rep are:High School Diploma - Associates Degree/higher preferred or equivalent experienceCustomer Service/Call center experience is strongly preferredProper phone etiquette, professional attitude, customer focus and team orientation.Problem solving and conflict resolution skills.9-key entry and typing skills.Knowledge, use and application of Microsoft Office Suite and JD Edwards software.Ability to follow company policies and procedures and State of Connecticut regulations.
