Wendell Charles Financial is actively seeking a Client Services Associate to join their team in Davenport, IA today! About: Wendell Charles Financial is an independent financial services firm providing a custom experience for each individual, family, or institution. Founded in 2011 by CEO, Evan Kirkpatrick, WCF is a primarily digital wealth management firm delivering investment management, financial planning, and insurance services to over 650 individual & family client accounts utilizing innovative software and video conference meetings. We have office locations in the Los Angeles area, Chicago, and (coming soon) Davenport, Iowa. Job Summary: The Client Service Associate position serves in an administrative and operational position in the firm.
This role requires mature customer relationship skills to handle non-advisory questions and concerns from clients. Accountabilities include the timely processing of nontrading-related service surrounding new and prospective clients'' investment accounts; ensuring service items are completed; and providing prompt, professional support and services to existing and prospective clients. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are essential.
While this role does not require advisory knowledge, a basic understanding of technical financial planning and investment management processes and procedures is required. Responsibilities: • Support advisory team in providing exceptional client relationship management. Assist in monitoring client communications and providing timely responses • Maintain strong professional relationships with all representatives of client • Process onboarding of new clients: - Prepare new account paperwork and custodial forms - Maintain communication with advisory team during progression of new account setup - Aid in opening client accounts and processing transfers at custodians - Create and update Salesforce and other internals systems with client data • Understand the client''s needs, guidelines, and objectives while ensuring the correct documentation and coding into the system • Assist current clients and advisory team with processing all forms and applications via DocuSign including opening accounts, account address change, information gathering, money movement, and other online applications necessary to process clients business transactions • Preparing and documenting client details in timely manner • Coordinate all facets necessary for internal and external meetings, including materials, participants, logistics, etc. using our scheduling software Requirements: • 2+ years of Customer/Client Support experience in financial/insurance industry • 1+ year(s) of administrative work at a financial services firm (or banking, real state, insurance, mortgage, or legal) • Possess acute attention to details and be service-oriented. • Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills • Demonstrate high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive information • General understanding of Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems and client data entry • Proficient computer application skills with Outlook, Microsoft Office, financial planning software, online file sharing, online scheduling & other online programs Preferred: • Bachelor''s degree • Experience with Salesforce, Slack, Box, OnceHub, Zoom, eMoney Compensation Structure • Base Salary + Quarterly Bonus potential Benefits: • Medical, Dental, Vision benefits • 401k plan + company match • Paid time off • Flexible schedule • Remote Work Powered by JazzHR by Jobble
