Your Role as a Remote Clinical Therapist:

And you won\u2019t have to do it alone. We follow a care-team treatment model, which means clinicians are assigned to teams which they can connect with and consult for advice, institutional knowledge, and continued feedback to help advance you in your career.
You will define your own availability, make your own schedules, and work according to your lifestyle. Some WellQor therapists work part time, and others carry full caseloads. Whatever your lifestyle demands, we\u2019re here to meet you where you\u2019re at.

Title: WellQor Clinical Therapist
Reports to: Clinical Director / Lead Psychologist
Requirements:
- LPCC, LMFT, LCSW, PsyD, PhD or equivalent licensed to practice independently.
- Empanelment / Participation with commercial insurance plans helpful but not required
- Strong computer skills and comfort using electronic medical records systems for patient charting and communication.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular teletherapy sessions with clients.
- Typical issues that your patients may face include:
- Adjustment issues, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, grief, behavioral issues, PTSD, substance abuse.
- Enter and maintain appropriate documentation in WellQor\u2019s, easy to use web based EHR system according to company guidelines.
- Utilize our unique WellQor Clinician Connect\u2122 platform to share ideas with and obtain support from other WellQor clinicians and leadership nationwide.
Compensation:
At WellQor, we\u2019ve developed two distinct programs for our clinical team members:
Our W2 employees benefit from being an integral member of the WellQor Team. They work closely and collaboratively with a highly experienced Clinical Director who assists with and oversees the care delivered to each patient. In a remote-work world, this structure is a unique way to access a level of mentorship and collaboration often lacking in the profession. We take care of their payroll taxes and tax withholding, cover their liability/malpractice insurance, and handle insurance company audits and peer reviews as needed. Our full-time W2 employees also receive 6 paid holidays, 10 days of PTO and are eligible for medical and dental insurance as well as our 401k plan.
Our 1099 Independent contractors enjoy the administrative, marketing, billing, and systems support offered by WellQor but ultimately take full ownership of the care delivered to their patients. Becoming an independent contractor with WellQor is a great option for therapists who enjoy a higher level of independence and autonomy. With our acclaimed support structure behind you, you\u2019ll have the freedom and flexibility to care for your own caseload without the worry of cumbersome billing and administrative tasks.
All WellQor Telehealth Therapists are paid on a fee for service / billable hour basis and carry caseloads of 10-40 patients per week according to their self-defined schedules. Hourly compensation varies based on license level, relevant experience, employment type, and caseload requirements.
