CDL Fueler with Tanker/Hazmat

Job Description: Servicer / Fueler

Location Texas

Pay Range Commiserate with experience. This position is classified as exempt

Schedule Typically Monday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM but occasionally up to seven (6) days per week - Subject to DOT Laws

Travel possible travel throughout the state.

Overview

Operate a Fuel / Service truck and drive to specified projects in and around North Texas areas for the fuel disputation, lubrication and preventative maintenance of heavy equipment and other construction equipment in the field environment. This will include basic knowledge of preventative maintenance, oils and lubrication of equipment.

Regular Job Duties

1. Operate a truck and drive to projects to perform fuel distribution and preventative maintenance on construction equipment.
2. Perform a variety of skilled duties which may involve inspection, preventative maintenance, oils and lubrication with some light repairs
3. Read, understand, and fill out service-related documents and paperwork in a timely manner. Read and interpret specifications, lubrication charts and manuals
4. Conduct preventative maintenance inspections to ensure maintenance activities on performed in a timely manner
5. Clean and maintain work vehicle and work area as necessary to maintain a safe work environment
6. Safely use hand and power tools, and equipment
7. Communicate effectively with vendors, supervisors, drivers and operators
8. Exhibit a high level of safety consciousness and a clear understanding of equipment safety
9. Assist other mechanics with various repairs
10. Other unlisted duties will be assigned

Job Requirements

1. Two to five or more years of experience as an Fueler / Servicer, preferably in the field
2. Lift, push, or pull and move up to seventy (70) pounds. Climb, kneel, twist, and bend in a various environment
3. Must have own hand tools
4. Be able to work with high level of physical activity performing strenuous activities of a primarily hands-on nature
5. Have manual dexterity enough to use tools and work with the fingers
6. Be able to communicate in English via verbal and written communications
7. Ability to apply concepts of basic Math concepts including calculating totals
8. Valid driver license, Commercial - CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements
9. Work outdoors with exposure to changing weather conditions such as rain, sun, snow, and wind
