We Surv Charleston began with a specific purpose: to offer trustworthy and excellent odd jobs to the wonderful people of Wilmington. In this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Building trust with the customer - household tasks like handyman, moves, yard work, or painting can be stressful, and customers want to ensure their stuff is safe!
• Ensuring that jobs worked in the field go smoothly. This involves leadership and communication with the customer and your team members.
• Leading the team on each job you're assigned professionally and attentively, ensuring each worker on the job sticks to job protocols and heeds directives
• Provide problem-solving solutions when necessary (i.e., an item isn’t fitting through a tight or confined space, a customer's suggestion for how the team should prune a shrub isn't right, etc.)
• Identify sales leads for our additional services.
• Communicating openly and effectively to both your team members and customers
• Knowing the basics of most handy skills, moving and painting, and yard work principles, as well as a desire to and knack for teaching others such skills

Requirements:

• Stamina to lift 75+ lbs, frequently bend, climb, raise your arms over your head, lift items off the ground, stack boxes/items, and handle fragile items with care, all of which may include walking up & downstairs
• The ability to operate a moving truck is a plus.
• Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor conditions, as well as heat and cold
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be over the age of 25 due to the nature of the job
• Must have a smartphone
• Must have a valid driver’s license, satisfactory, safe driving record, and reliable transportation to get from one job site to another
• Criminal and motor vehicle record checks are required.
• Some Saturdays are required.
