The Wayne County Prosecutor's Office is seeking an accounting and finance manager to assist with it's budget and finance operations. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a rewarding career!

The Finance Manager in the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office will work under the direct supervision of the Chief of Finance, and is responsible for assisting with all aspects of finance as well as supervising the Accounting and Finance staff and reviewing their work. Specifically, the responsibilities are comprised of Accounting, Grants Management, Procurement and Budgeting.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting; AND
  • At least four (4) years of full-time paid experience in finance, accounting, procurement and/or budgeting. This experience should include some of the following duties: finance and budget processing and reporting, accounts payable/receivable, billing, revenue collection; AND
  • One (1) year of management experience.
