We’re seeking passionate aeronautical engineers to join our talent pool!

Role duties

  • Perform structural analysis on new designs of primary and secondary airframe structure.

  • Experience in the analysis of composite materials preferable.

  • Responsible for static strength assessment, detail part sizing of primary and secondary structure.

  • You will use your knowledge of engineering mechanics, including Engineering Statics and Strength of Materials.

  • Ability to lead other less-experienced structural analysts in their work.

  • Ability to collaborate easily with remote teams.

  • Proficient in data analysis, detailed CAD modeling, and simulation tools such as: MATLAB, ANSYS/Fluent, SolidWorks, etc.

  • Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation of compressible airflow using commercial CFD code and meshing tools.

  • Experience with core manufacturing processes and techniques is preferred (machining, welding, brazing, assembly, and testing)

  • Strong technical writing skills including procedure creation, and requirements and specifications development, both for internal designs and external contractors.

  • Experience with aircraft systems, flight testing, and wind tunnel testing is preferred.

  • Excellent writing, oral, and reporting skills: produce/present technical documentation, customer briefings.

  • Flexible and able to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

  • Work on your terms: full and part-time engagements from 2 weeks to 3 months with the potential for development into full-time paid roles
